I’ve not found anything that gets rid of it completely but I’ve found having turmeric and ginger tea before/after meals has helped. And cutting down on processed foods/carbs has too. I believe there are a number of anti-inflammatory diets that people have had success with and if you look around google there are details of these “endo-diets” if you’re interested. Other than that, I’ve found that light exercise as and when I can manage it has helped a bit. Hopefully some of this might help or might be a good place to start x

Activated charcoal helps with gas in the body where as stuff like gas x only helps with gas in the digestive tract. You can find activated charcoal in any vitamin area of a grocery store or pharmacy I recommend the capsules over the tablets to avoid the taste. It won't make the pain go away but it should lessen it a great deal. Also a heating pad or warm water bottle can be soothing. Hope this helps and u have a speedy recovery.

Hi. Since putting myself on a gluten free, dairy free and soya free, since May my tummy is defo flatter. I buy gluten free pasta from supermarkets, I prefer the Sainsbury ones, gluten free bread. I completely stopped all dairies and buy coconut milk and almond milk, I can get almond Magnum vegan ice creams, it's a bit tough on the pudding front, but I am in pain when having dairies, so ... I don't have too much choice . Soya makes my tummy swells, is very rich in oestrogen which makes this condition worse. Because I have IBS associated with endo, I have removed all inflammatory foods, such as coffee, chocolate, brown rice . I empty myself with diarrhoea, it hurts and makes me feel really tired, I have to respect this diet. I am lucky to have the support of my husband and family, it's important.

This diet has alleviated the level of burning pains I had, I feel better. It doesn't solve everything though, I still have flare ups but less painful. My IBS works alongside the cycle, before and during ovulation and before and during periods. I am very careful with food, but I also make sure to eat well and supplement with Magnesium Chelate, iron, Vitamin D, Evening Primrose (a good quality). I have reduced meat, but not stopped it. I eat nuts , ie nourrishing rich foods, sweet potatoes, potatoes, vegs, salads.

The gluten for me is a big no no due to bloating, pain and highly embarrassing flatulence.

Sorry for the detailed info, but this is the reality and reasons for my choices.

Hope this helps and you find what works for you. :)

Thank you all for the tips!! 😊
