Shooting spasms

Does anyone else get spasms down their legs (especially when laying down) that make your kick out?

I get them badly when I’m having a flare..

Yes I do! Do you also get sciatica pains with painful thighs and tingling?

Yes I was diagnosed in April! The tingly pain starts in my hip, down my thigh and makes me kick out xx

Do you mind me asking where they have found your endo to?

I went to a standard gyno and he said it was on the outside of my uterus. I don’t think he’s checked anywhere else but I have an appointment with a specialist in January xx

Yes! Like you, I get them during a flare and especially at night. I'm having them now but with me it's almost like a 'jolt' or jerk if that makes any sense. The weird and wonderful joys of endo!! X

Hi ladies I first got them in sept 2018 when I was diagnosed. After having my first lap in aug the pain is a lot worse now down my left thigh, lower back and bowel. My physio has said to me its sciatic nerve pain. So I saw my surgeon on tuesday his referred me for MRI to check which nerve it is on my spine that's causing the spasm pain.

I use deep heat spray on my thigh, lower back to help me. x

I haven’t been diagnosed yet, but I have had this for a couple of years. I have terrible sciatica and strange jerks which my GP told me were ‘just’ myclonic jerks, cause unknown.

It’s surprising when I look back how many things are linked, I’m waiting for an ultrasound as my first point of diagnosis.
