I’m after some advice. In December I had a miscarriage unfortunately and before I knew I was pregnant the hospital preformed a laparoscopy on me and removed my appendix as they thought that is where the pain I was having, was coming from. It wasn’t.
After the operation the pregnancy ended and I had a few procedures done. I’ve since been back on the jasmine pill and up until about 6 months ago, things were fine. I’m unsure if this is endo or not, but I’ve heard it can be caused by scar tissue etc?
I’ve just had to leave work today due to excruciating pain in my lower back and abdomen. It travels down my legs. My period ended on Saturday just gone and it was longer than my normal 7 day cycle. It was a lot heavier and I was clotting. I’ve noticed this is my last 5/6 periods. Things are only getting worse. I started to bleed again last night which isn’t something that’s ever happened before.
I’m only 22 and I’m struggling to get into the doctors. The only appointment I can get is in 3 weeks time and that’s just to see him. I’ll then have to wait for a scan and the pain is horrendous.
Does anyone have any advice for me? Should I go to a hospital or any medication or anything that helps them?
Thank you!

Hi there I’m struggling to understand after reading but you had a lap when pregnant is what I’m reading this ended In misscarrige a lap should not be performed while pregnant.you had pain before that though I’m struggling to understand if this is endo as the pain goes away when your pregnant for me anyway it goes and comes back after misscarrige I’ve had misscarrige with endo and my symptoms go when I’m pregnant can’t believe they’ve took your appendix out and don’t know if it’s even that clotting and leg pain happens with endo as with adomin pain but if you had a lap I would have guessed they might have found it endo can only be diagnosed with a lap it could be a cyst I was told they can cause similar pain the docs you’ve been referred to don’t sound very knowledgeable scans clear??endo doesn’t always show on scans but mri it can and cysts sometimes can if internal it needs more investigation
I’ve only had this pain since the miscarriage. I’m unsure on the pain before the lap in December, it was more cramping so may have just been implantation... who knows.
But yes I’ve only had this pain and the bad periods for about 6 months now. I had a procedure on Christmas Eve last year where then went in and scrapped everything away as they left stuff inside me.
I’m unsure what to do, I’m struggling to sleep due to pain, I only get a few good days out of a month these days and at 22, I want to be out socialising went nice outfits but because of the bloating, I can’t...
I would definitely go back to your gp say you’ve researched and think you have endo.after misscarrige the pain should have gone I would have guessed but could be wrong I’ve recently had a misscarrige and have some pain I think is endo related but it’s only been 3 week since I understand bloating is terrible I no longer wear jeans because of this and it can be lonley with this disease you could try the pill and see if it calms symptoms down unless you are still trying for a baby if you are still trying pain relief is the only thing available or going on a gluten free diet is suppose to stop inflammation
Thank you for sharing that. I’m sorry to hear about your miscarriage, I’m already in the pill. I have been since my miscarriage. I want s baby soon but just so scared it will happen again and would rather get this sorted before I try! Thanks again so much
Yes, endometriosis can even appear in women who didn't suffer from it until then as a consequence of surgeries. Adhesions in particular can be caused by that.
The first step we can advise is booking an appointment with an extremely trained excision surgeon to discuss your situation. Please PM me if you need names
How come you are having your periods if you are on the pill? Are you not taking it continously?
It’s the pill which I take for 21 days and then a 7 day break. I’ve had others which you take continuously but I was still bleeding on it and gained a weight.
I suggest you seek out an excision surgeon (PM me for names) and in the meantime take ibuprofen, CBD oil, Epsom salt baths and everything else I posted here: healthunlocked.com/endometr...
