So I have been suffering with really Heavy periods for years to the point where I overheat and vomit with the pain I’m scared when it’s close to my time of my month because I know what’s coming. I recently went to the doctors and they put me on the combined pill (Microgynon ) and for about 2 months I have been fine I have had 2 normal periods without much bleeding and Barely any pain and I was starting to feel amazing like something is actually working for me I’m now on my third month of my pill pack and I feel like I’m going backward the pain on my left side has returned I feel tired and sick and I’m so scared about coming to the end of this pack because I know I just know I’m going to have a really horrible bad period and I’m starting to feel depressed and down about it all again :,( does anyone have any advice on anything that works for them that I could try ? X

I suggest you speak to your doctor and tricycle your pill x 3 packs taken without a break to reduce your periods. Good luck x
Hey,
I agree with Tinkerbell16 as I have found taking 3 packs back to back and only having about 4 periods a year is so much more manageable! Have you been given different painkillers to try? As I found reducing my pain really help with tone the actual vomiting down to just nausea, even just with heat pads or hot water bottles on my stomach/back helped a lot
For the sickness the doctor can prescribe anti-sickness tablets if you explain you actually can’t even eat, or I try home remedies like peppermint tea (which also helps bloating) and plain foods, no caffeine etc. if you have a google there are a few suggestions you could try
Good luck x
