I am due to have my surgery with a BSGE specialist in London at the end of this month, she would like to fit the Mirena Coil during.
I have had the coil before and it helped my pain and symptoms for a solid 8 months, but then I had it removed as the pain returned and my mental health started to suffer.
My husband and I are due to buy our first house next year and I feel we will also want to try for a baby. I just don’t know whether to say no to the coil in case we want to try sooner or to give it another go.

Hiya. I've had the coil for a while now, 1st time was waaaay before I was diagnosed and had it removed to have a child. I'm not entirely sure how good the mirena actually is. I was in a lot of pain before my surgery last month, so I personally for me I don't think it makes much difference.
I would still go for it, purely because any relief is better than nothing and also once it's removed you're pretty much good to go to try for a baby. Good luck in buying a house and starting your family.
