Bleeding after 7 month on prostap

Hope somebody can help me. I have fibroids and waiting to have hysterectomy. I have been on the injection and hrt since Feb. Always had a brown discharge the doctor said it was a side effect. But 10 days ago after having intercourse I bled a bit the day after, this had carried on since then on and off. Seen my doctor who couldn't see much during examination as I was bleeding. Went back today as he said he would contact hospital for advice. Hospital had not been in touch. I spoke to a nurse at the clinic who said it was most likely cervical erosion and I would stop in a few days this was 8 days ago. don't know how she would know! Managed to get hold of my consultants clinic the only appointment is 26th of this month which they could squeeze me in but I go away for 12 nights that morning. Going seeing a female doctor on fri at my gp surgery again to see if she can see anything which is hard as I keep bleeding. I'm so worried that it could be something more sinister. My injection is due again next wed they gave me a 12 week one last time but no docs in clinic that day as it's nurse led. Know it's going to ruin my holidays not knowing what's happening. 😞

Not sure if this helps but I have been in the prostrap injections I did 7 months I Duarte’s to bleed on my 5th injection and I have been bleeding or spotting since. My last injection was in July which was my 7th one. And I am still spotting, am not sure why as I thought the prostrap stopped you bleeding. When I spoke to my gynaecologist & GP they both just said it happens. Which is just naff, am hopefully you will get some good advice which will help both of us. Sorry I can’t be much more help just wanted you to know it’s happening to me. Take care

Hi Tinkmin. Thanks for your reply. I have actually managed to see my female doctor this morning she is a gyni doctor. She checked my cervix and said there was a small amount if blood there but by cervix is healthy. She has told me not to worry about it there is nothing wrong it just happens sometimes. I'm due my next injection next week they changed me from 4 weekly to 12 weeks so she said it could actually wareing off slightly as it's near to my next one. I'm hopefully having my hysterectomy in Jan so all my problems will be over. She also said with my fibroids my age which is 53 and hrt plus menopause she's not surprised it's happening 😂 I feel 100 times better than I did yesterday. At least I know it will all be over soon. Hope everything works out for you too. Xx
