Hi I have stage 4,just recently had my first lap recovered well within the first week. just doing light movements. Also been told i have bowel nodule so they done my lap now and removed the ones in my ovary and pelvic wall uterus. In december i will go for my bowel surgery. The pain I have been suffering in the bowel is only when sitting down and walking. placing a hot water bottle has helped.

Yes. I was diagnosed within 4days of getting severe pelvis pain. Had a few transvaginal scans where they found endo. Then I referred myself to a bsge centre and they done a MRI and found I had endo in my bowel too although i didnt have any pain in my bowel, till I was put in destrogen one hormone pill I suffered with emense bowel pain, to the point I couldnt sit on a chair coz my bowel was hurting. I got off the hormone pill an went back to the microgynon pill and the bowel pain has eased down since may. u am due to have a follow up for my lap and the doctor will decide whether I need to go for the bowel surgery and stoma bag.

I was told I had nodules in my bowel many years ago after a colonoscopy. In my report it said it was noted but nothing needed to be done and was indicative of my age at the time

I’ve just had hysterectomy and bowel shave (day 3 post op). I’ve had a module for years but because I’m 42 I went for a hysterectomy as well. I only had it shaved off as I had pain on opening my bowels and also occasional blood. I had a zoladex for a year which helped my general endo but not the bowel. They warned me I could have 1 of 3 procedures depending on what they found. Ever a shave to remove it, a scoop a bit deeper or chop it off. I was lucky the zoladex had shrunk it and he shaved it off.

Don’t over think it. Go on your symptoms and if it’s not causing issues ignore it!

Best wishes x
