Groin pain

Hello I have been suffering with endometriosis for a while now And had a lap about 18 months ago which removed an endometriosis from left ovary and multiple areas from rectum and uterus.

In the last couple of months I have started with horrendous ache in my left groin which can transfer down my leg and around to the top of my pelvis. I am due to go back to see gynaecologist in a few weeks. The pain I have feels like a horrendous nerve pain but then I have sharp stabbing pains also. Has anyone else suffered with this and what was it?? I have read it can grow on your ligaments and just wondered if it had begun to do this.

Hi Becky! My name is Tayla and I have the same symptoms as you do. I have adenomyosis and a very bad spinal injury. I never know which one is causing me such pain. This burning sharp pain is on my right side. It’s localized in the crease of my right leg. And a palpable “knot” is felt at the top inner part when I open my leg and let it drop to my side while laying down. Do you happen to have this too? All the other pains seem to radiate out from this one point. Feels like a lymph node. I speculate some endo has grown and wrapped itself around this node. Which happens to sit next to a nerve. I see my gyno today. I will ask him. If he offers any insight I will let you know. Take Care! I know it sucks so bad. I cut up a small square from a lidocaine patch and place it there most days. It actually does take the edge off a bit. Hope we all get answers soon.

My symptoms: heavy aching periods. Pain during and after sex cramping and swelling. A tugging down sensation from the behind my belly button to the top of the pubis mons. Then it stretches inside my abdomen and feels like it’s wrapping around the top of my hip bone. Right sided ovary pain. Right groin deep ache with a random electrical feeling. Groin mass, knot or lymph node pronounced. Top of right thigh pains and aches. Feels heavy down to the knee. Inner thigh tension. Night sweats. Hip pain. Low back pain. Both relentless.

I’m sorry I can’t offer an answer but I’ve just recently been getting the same pain.

I noticed it as a twinge a few months ago...it would just appear when I stretched at the gym and then go away. But after my last period, it’s a

constant intense ache and pain in my left groin.

I’m rolling around the house with a hot water bottle between my legs trying to relieve some of it 😞 hoping ibuprofen will kick in soon and my failed attempt at the gym will have done some good?
