Hi I had my first lap and had cysts removed from both ovaries. My ovaries were stuck to the back of my pelvis so they were unstuck. I had endo removed from my bowel and bladder which were stuck together and my left tube was twisted and blocked. I was told I have ALOT of scarring which would have to be removed in another lap. I had excruciating pain when coming out of the anaesthetic and have had bladder issues since. I am 6 days post surgery and still having shooting pains from bladder and urinating a lot. I was told to hand a urine sample into gp it seems to be since I had the catheter taken out. They did have to drain my bladder again after this as I had so much pressure and pain coming from my bladder and was told I probably had trauma from the catheter

Laparoscopy
I had a similar experience, I am 4 days after my laparoscopic surgery where they removed a large cyst and lots of endo that had glued my bladder, bowel, ovaries and uterus to each other plus my ovaries were full of scar tissue meaning I couldn’t have gotten pregnant for sure . I struggled to go for a wee for a few days and it all feels kind of numb and weird still. I was in horrible pain for 2 days post op and could barely move, I had a tube in my tummy to drain excess blood and fluids which seemed to cause me the most pain.
Yeah I couldn’t really move for the first 2 days and the drainer was awful! Having that taking out was one of the most horrible feelings ever. I’m now 2 weeks post surgery and feel my insides are heeling. Before when I needed to empty my bowels I felt as if my insides were collapsing and going to fall out.
