Help - Work has ticked the "disability" box - what does it mean?

So I've been checking my HR stuff at work to make sure things are recorded correctly. I've noticed that my work has ticked the disability box where it gives options for "yes", "no" and "unanswered". Is this something that if they tick yes they have legal obligations or is it just a place they can use to record additional info? They've added in the notes "diagnosed with endometriosis". Can I use this when I have my Occupational Health assessment?

I'll check with my Unite rep when they're back in too.

Advice needed!

I would highlight it in your occupational health meeting. As they are kind of saying already that they see it as a disability which may mean the occupational health person also sees it the same. As if it is seen as a disability it means requests for reasonable adjustments that you may request need to be looked into and considered.
