I'm really struggling with endo pain at the moment.
I'm on my first period since having two laparoscopies and prostap treatment. It's so heavy and the pain is unbearable.
I've been stuck in bed for three days now! I'm taking pregablin and oxycodone. I'm allergic to anti inflammatory meds which is a bigger.
It's far too hot for hot water bottles. Does anyone have any advice on how to get through this flare up? We went to A&E but they just increased my medication.
Is this normal to have a huge flare up? I had been doing so well for a couple of months and I'm so frustrated I'm having symptoms again.
TIA
Best wishes, Chillier xxx

So sorry to hear that. If it's any help, the first period after my first lap was a complete nightmare, with flooding like I had never experienced before, but it was a one off. After my second lap nearly a year later the first or second proper period was really painful , but again, it hasn't been as bad since. The pain should hopefully settle down in a month or two if not this month. If you can, try not to panic about things going in the wrong direction, relax as much as you can (!), and try visualising / thinking of this as something you have to get out of the way, and things will settle down again soon. Hope you feel better soon and stay cool xxx
