Scared of the pain

I’ve been told by doctors that I might have endometriosis, at the minute I’m really struggling because when I’m not in pain I’m so scared of the pain coming that it’s stopping me from doing anything, has anyone else had this?

I have a lot of anxiety. My periods are so irregular I can never predict when I'm going to be knocked out for a day or two.

Going through the amount of pain we do, even for a day, is traumatic. So it's not surprising a lot of women have anxiety.

I always have a plan anytime I go somewhere. I find out where the toilets are and I always have my medication with me. I find it helps a little to have that security.

You're not alone x
