Severe Nerve Pain in Leg

Severe Nerve Pain

Struggling now for 4 days with severe nerve pain down my right leg particularly at night

Also have really sore area on back of ribs

Not sure if I have tweaked my back which is deferring the pain or if my Endo is irritating the nerve ?

Just don’t know what to do with myself as cannot stay in bed as cannot get into a comfortable position it is agonising ! Takes me 20 minutes to just try to sit up

Can anyone else relate to this ?

I have a pelvic scan today as the doctor was concerned may be ovarian cysts

Seeing my surgeon next week

Had excision surgery for stage 4 endo and small bowel resection last October

I would go see a GP and get your back checked, I've had sciatica like this for 6 months + from a slipped disc but it's best to check it's just a tweak and nothing serious, you can also get help from a physio (that's really helped me) if it seems to be your back. Nerve pain is really nasty isn't it xx

Hi Violet thanks for your reply, yes going to see gp on Monday so will ask her opinion and see what she reckons xxxx

I have had this since my second lap two years ago. Have severe endo, and told potentially nerve damage from the surgeries causing the leg pain. Ask to see a pain clinic, they are very helpful. X

Thanks for your reply xxx I am a little concerned this could be a side effect of the pro strap injections I had last year ? Yes I’m thinking pain clinic could be an option xxx
