I got a bit of relief from a tens machine, but nothing significant, but I know people who have had a lot of relief using one, I think it depends on the person.

I bought the own brand loyds pharmacy one.

I quite like mine for some of my aches and pains, I use the Lloyds pharmacy dual channel one. It relieves my pain (but replaces it with a strange sensation) but only really for the time you use it, I mainly use it when my chronic pain is really getting me down. Would recommend getting one with more than 2 pads as you can cover a bigger area xx

I got the one argos sell which supports st.John's ambulance. Its rechargeable and has 4 pads. It helps with my back and leg pain but I didn't buy it till after my excision surgery so never got to test it on a full blown end attack. It at least distracts from the pain while its on.
