Endometriosis and Thrush?

Hi Ladies,

Im post hysterectomy and on hrt (estrogel) keep having persisting thrush since my Op,

Does anyone know of a link to Thrush and low or high estrogen levels and with or without Endometriosis?

Im going crazy having about 5th bout of vaginal thrush/dryness since my op 15 months ago.

Any chat welcome.

Im back on the clotrimiozide (sp)

Cream or caniston cream.

I had thrust and very bad reaction to a hrt cream that I had to use vaginally.

Had to be taken off it as i was allergic to the preservative in it.

Now on vagifem vaginal pill with disposable applicator and have (touch wood...fingers crossed) been much better.

Thrush as far as i know is caused by ph levels..but can also be caused via hormone imbalance and even taking some antibiotics.

Id go back to your perscriber and ask them a couple of questions and see if there is any alternatives of similar level.
