Fibogel makes things worse?

I suffer with bouts of really bad constipation linked with Endo flares. I’m also 16 weeks pregnant.

I’ve always found Fybogel makes Me feel worse? More bloated, more cramps, generally uncomfortable has anyone else found this? It made me go but I just feel so bloated and uncomfortable every time I have them. But don’t find that issue when taking laxido

Hey, I really don’t like fybogel it makes me sick I took it for a weeks about a year ago and it made me physically sick. It just doesn’t sit well. If you found that laxido works better could you request that from your GP? It’s not pleasant also brown rice works really well for me with it being more fiber- us. Hope this helps x

Hi Kate I similarly suffer from constipation too and take a sachet of laxido nearly everyday. However I’ve started upping my intake of ground flaxseed with chicory inulin and it seems to have helped my stools a lot in conjunction with the laxido. I take about 1-2 tablespoons a day of flaxseed and inulin together with my porridge or yoghurt and ensure I drink enough water. Check with you doctor if these are ok to take whilst pregnant but I can’t really see why they wouldn’t be as they are natural foods x
