Endometriosis, and conceiving

Hello,

I am new to this forum, I have had Endometriosis, well diagnosed in 2017, when I was 27, and I had a laps to remove one adhesion they saw and a dermoind cyst. I am 29 years old, and now I have another dermoid cyst on the right ovary again, less than 1cm. Now I want to have a child, I have a partner, we have only tried for less than 3 months but I am having a really hard time. And my relative is having her baby and living with us, and its hard to cope with seeing and hearing about this. We are trying IUI this moment, has anyone had much success with IUI for Endo? And how long on average did must women on here take to conceive?

A dermoid cyst is NOT and endometrioma. They are very different things and adhesions + dermoid cyst don't necessarily mean you have endometriosis.

Who performed the adhesiolysis (removal of adhesions)? Was it an endo excision specialist?

IUI only helps in case the male has fertility issues and it doesn't really help if you have trouble with your tubes or ovaries. If you have issues, you should proceed differently.

Please explain your situation to me more thoroughly so I can advise you better

Sorry if I wasn't clear, the when I had my laparoscopy a few years ago the doctor said I had endometriosis they removed a small adhesion, I had of endo. The surgeon also removed the dermoid cyst I had on my left ovary which was about 9cm. I am trying to get pregnant and my partner and I are having IUI this month, my question is how long do women with endometriosis take to conceive? And should I consider a another laparoscopy to investigate if I have further adhesion. At the moment my endometriosis is under control has I currently take glutathione which has helped me massively with the pain.

Usually, even with advanced stage 4 endometriosis, it can take between 2 and 9 months after excision surgery to conceive, but some take more.

Why would you go through IUI though? It makes no sense

Another surgery could be performed if you've been trying for over a year with no success. But please, if you decide to investigate further with excision surgery, please only let an experienced excision surgeon operate on you.

Where were the adhesions you had? Did you have them on your tubes too?

I have mild endometriosis, the adhesion was near my bowel and only one adhesion was found hence the endometriosis is mild. We only just started trying, the doctor thinks we have a good chance of conceiving, I don't want anymore surgery because that could make things worse.
