Contraception after surgery? No advice given

Hi

I had a lap 2 weeks ago where they found deep infiltrated endo in multiple places. They asked me at the time of surgery if I wanted the mirena but as I've had it before and it didn't agree with me I said no. I've not had any kind of hormones in my body for at least a year now. I wasnt given any advice on whether I need to start taking something to help prevent endo returning?? Anyone know if I should need to??

Also due to return to work tomorrow exactly 2 weeks since surgery days still feeling absolutely shattered!! Any advice for getting through first few days back much appreciated!

I am on the same situation.

I had a lap two weeks ago and now i am again in pain for more than a week.

Not sure what to do. So scared that my endo is returning back.

Are you having pain again ?

I do have some pain yes but I assumed it was internal healing pain as I have been reading it can take up to 8 weeks to heal after removal. after care seems to be a big issue with endo, I'm not sure if I'm meant to be this tired have this random pain and if I should be taking anything!
