Endometrioma after excision?

Is it normal to have an endometrioma found after they’ve got rid of it all? I’m so confused

hi. Yes I did, it was only small one thankfully. I knew it was there as I was getting a bit more pain. It was found during a scan for ivf and as it was small they drained it during the egg collection and its not been found on the scans since. Have you had a scan to confirm it's there? After my excision surgery the surgeon did stay it's not a cure and I was to expect it to come back ☹ . Xx

Yes as they can recurr and just depends how quickly it happens x
