I had surgery3 days ago now for cyst removal but am so swollen I feel my skin can’t get any tighter. I have gained 12kg of fluid/gas etc to when I went in. My legs hustt to stand and walk with the pressure and last night I swear they felt they were going to tear. I am swollen all over inc torso and I never knew you could swell in the small of your back. Is this normal and when should it start to go down as it is so uncomfortable? I have to sleep propped up in the corner of our couch as laying in bed makes it harder to breathe and i cough , which hurts.
Thanks

Hi! I had surgery recently too for endo and cyst removal and also experienced pain when breathing and coughing. I am 5 days post op now and feel so much better. I would suggest taking gas relief tablets, short/slow walks around the house, maybe a gentle laxative and using a heat pad to relieve any pain. That all really helped me. Get well soon!
Hi! I agree 100% with liliesinbloom! Great advice! I know how painful gas and bloating is, I relied on the the gas relief tablets (Gas-ex) for a few days and walked to get relief. Once you start passing your gas, you will feel much better! Best wishes!
