Should I go straight back on Prostap? After first unsuccessful ivf

Hello,

We’ve just found out that our first round of ivf (ICsi) was unsuccessful. We don’t know why - follow up app on 11 April.

Lack of info from my clinic about what now in terms of managing endo so I will be chasing them today. What’s anyone’s experiences - did you go straight back on the Prostap injection ASAP after failed ivf cycle?

I had a large endo cyst removed on 17 Dec and they started me on Prostap same day to help keep endo away.

Unfortunately on my last scan a week ago it showed a 2 Cm endometrioma on the same ovary I just had the one removed in Dec so am paranoid about this coming back and preventing next round of ivf/more surgery so soon

My specialist told me that I wouldn't have to do more prostap between cycles, but I assume this depends on your individual circumstances.

Thanks for your reply I appreciate it. I have manage to get cycle review meeting brought forward to this Tuesday rather than 11 April. So hopefully find out then x
