Hi ladies, just curious if anyone else suffers with really bad fatigue and a low immune system? I seem to be getting ill so often and struggling to shift the infections, in between I’m then dealing with Endo are ups and all the lovely symptoms they bring with them! Just really struggling to get my mojo back!! Anyone else feeling similar or got any advise ? 🤒 Xx

Yes!!!

I created a thread a couple of weeks back asking the exact same thing and there are some other ladies that struggle with this too!

Unfortunately I don’t have any advice because it’s something I am very much struggling with. I started taking some daily vitamins to see if that helps my energy levels but I am still finding I am going to bed at 8/9 at night and when I wake up at 7 for work I feel like I have a massive hang over despite not touching a drop!

Yes, I have an extremely low immune system. If it's going - I get it! In the last year alone I've had 2 lots of tonsillitis, 2 UTI's, a huge outbreak of eczema and rhinitis for about a year. The only thing I have found that helps is trying to have a balanced diet, being good to myself, allowing myself rest if i need it and not feeling bad or beating myself up if i need actual medicine! I suppose it's about finding what works for you. x

That’s really interesting in the past year I’ve had bronchitis, an outbreak of eczema all over my hands and rhinitis which I am still suffering from and the rhinitis has caused post nasal drip. I did read a few articles about women with Endo having high links with allergies and nasal issues. Feels like my life is dominated by my uterus and nose at the minute x

Mine has hugely been my nose area bothering my aswell, I’ve had 3 sinus infections in as many months. I can’t remember what it’s like to have clear sinuses! X

I’m exactly the same I had a sinus infection last month, how strange. You wouldn’t think there’s a connection between nose/sinus issues and endometriosis. My main issue is congestion it’s always blocked or snotty, I’m taking fexofenadine which helps a lot but I still have issues. X

Hi Meghxx

Yes I do think it’s because I am anaemic so that’s why I suffer with the symptoms.

Have you had your iron levels checked? I’m no expert but maybe you may be suffering from anaemia.

Hope you feel a bit better soon.

Xx

You need to repair and strenghten your gut and modulate your immune response. You need to change your diet in order to include more vitamin B6, B12, folic acid, selenium, zinc, grapefruit seed extract, vitamin E and vitamin C and take supplements (but change the diet first!).

You also might need butyric acid, cholostrum, L-glutamine and other gut-specific supplements to have a healthier bowel and regain energy!
