Endometriosis and fertility

Hello there I am 21 years old I got diagnosed about 7-8 months ago after pain so bad on period I was bed ridden, so I went for an ultrasound and found I had a endometrima cyst about 6cm on my left ovary, I have had no further diagnostic for endometriosis for example a larascopy nor was I even told about this until reading this page I had no idea, and still getting pain else where which is probably why. However the only resolution I received was to take a contraceptive pill continuously which I have been for 6 months now with no break, I am worrying this is making my fertility even worse and I wondering if to try for a baby soon however the doctors seem to not have a clue as they told me if I come of the pill it will cause the endometriosis to spread and grow and internal bleeding and they gave me pain relief but it’s rubbish I’m just wondering how to go about fertility and if any of you ladies know who to talk to or your stories on pregnancy? I’ve looked at private but still not sure if they have endometriosis specialist and is it worth it just for some advice? Thank you x

I'm sorry to hear of your pain. You must have soo many questions right now, I feel your pain. The best advise I can give you, based on how much you understand whats happening to your body (which was certainly like me a few years ago) is to read this book: "The Doctor Will See You Now", written by one of the best endo surgeons in the world: Tamer Seckin, M.D. Seriously, this book will lift all your pain off your shoulders and feel like someone finally understands all the pain you're experiencing. He mentions in the book the 'gold standard' for treating endometriosis. And he'd have the answers to a lot of the questions you're asking. This is a book you can 100% trust.
