Is endometriosis likely?

Hey everyone

So I am 32 years old and have 2 children. I’ve lived with a constant battle of trying to manage work, children and pain for 10 years now. It’s a cycle I find unhealthily normal.

I’ve lived with severe stomach cramps for about 3 weeks out of a month managing it with over the counter pain relief, hot water bottles and boiling hot baths. Plus lots of days in bed. Nothing really eases it much I just have to wait for the pain to dye down.

I also didn’t realise my periods were unusually heavy in the beginning (flooding) untill I asked friends about there’s. Sex is painfull always causing cramps afterwards too.

I’ve been doing some researching and everything seems to be pointing to endometriosis .. so with no help from doctors I’ve decided to start taking the cerazette pill to see if that helps. I’ve never took any medication for birth control before so it’s all new to me in regards to the body’s reaction. I have been on a period for about 3 weeks and I’m nearly at the tail end of the first month of tablets.

I’m in less pain but there is still niggles. None of them severe cramps that caused me to do somersaults in bed for days.

With everything I’m saying does this resonate with anybody else’s story. Is endometriosis a likely cause of my 10 years of hell???

Hello itslea,

You 100% have endometriosis, every single one of your symptoms have endometriosis alarm bells ringing. All I can say is read this book: "The Doctor Will See You Now", written by Tamer Seckin, MD, who is one of the best endometriosis surgeons in the world. It will make your 10 years of hell lift of your shoulders and help you to realise every single moment you've been through. It sure helped me. I'm sorry to hear you've struggled this long, but like the book mentioned us endo warriers just 'keep going'. This book tells you about the 'gold standard' for treating endometriosis. Trust this helps (the book will!)...you are amazing to be a mother looking after your kids during this time, but it all catches up on you at some point...all the best.xoxoxoxoxoxo

Wow, your reply brought me to tears.

All I can say is Thank you.

I honestly thought I was going crazy. I felt that No one understood what I have been and am going through daily until now.

I will buy the book today. X
