Hi Everyone! I have Endometriosis and had surgery and have been using visanne last year this time for 3months, I stop it because I hand bad side effects, so for the rest of last year up until now I didn't use any treatment. I go for regular check up and my doctor says everything looks fine. I had my last period for on the 21 December until the 25 December 2018. My period was due the 20th January 2019 but I didn't get it, I went to the doctor on the 23 January 2019 he did a pregnancy test it was negative, on the 29th & 30th January 2019 I was spotting on the 31st January 2019 I went back to the doctor he said everything looks fine..

Hi Carebear101,

One of the symptoms of Endometriosis is irregular periods so I would try not to worry too much about this. (Stress can also cause irregular periods!)

If you are still really concerned, perhaps you can see another GP for a second opinion?

I hope this helps.
