Hey. My name is Esther and I'm 26. After having complications from a coil insertion I have just had 2 laparoscopys in 3 weeks and have been diagnosed with endometriosis amongst other things.
The pain is unreal and getting me so down. Please tell me I'm not alone.
Lovely to meet you all
Esther

Welcome. I hope this place will be a place of great help and support for you. Sorry to hear you are in a lot of pain. I got diagnosed at 41 in November and it is a lot to get your head around. I did find a bit of relief in at least knowing what was causing the pain and plethora of symptoms.
Hello, I had my first lap in September after years of being told you just have heavy periods and to deal with it by countless doctors. I had a coil put in during my lap and now the pain is ridiculous! I have been signed off work for nearly 4 weeks because everyday is a struggle to just get out of bed at them moment. This is my place to come and vent all my frustrations, to ask for help from someone who actually understands what your going through. What r they doing about your pain at the moment? No1 should have to be in pain! Xx
I'm under a consultant. Am going back to see him in ⁴ weeks. Shall see. ATM just living on ibuprofen and paracetamol which isn't doing my stomach any good. X
It sounds like you're having a bad time- so sorry. If you've had two laps not wonder you are feeling bruised.
I had a lap 4 weeks ago and my pain and emotions have been all over the place. Did they give you any codine after the operation? Maybe see the GP in the meantime and some more help or meds? Take the parc and ibuf without fail consistently with food even if the pain lifts for a bit. Hot water bottles seemed to have more of an effect that the pain killers for me. It will get better but you have to look at it against a week ago to get a bit of perspective. You will make it through this.
