Hi ladies, I got my mirena coil fitted on thursday (24th).. Last night I done a check and I can only find one string after having a good feel around, It was pretty easily detected so i'm not really sure where the other one is? Is this a cause for concern? or has it maybe just curled up? My pain levels are still pretty severe, but apart from that no other obvious signs that something may be wrong. Can anyone else only feel one string?

I would get it checked out. I couldn't find my strings and neither could the GP but an ultrasound confirmed my coil was still in the correct place. It's always best to get these things checked out for piece of mind x
