I have stage 4 endometriosis and was fortunate to get a laparoscopy in October 2016. They found endometriosis everywhere, including all over my bladder. I felt like this explains my severe IBS as after my op my IBS seemed to have disappeared.
Forward to now, I think it's coming back and I'm starting to experience the same symptoms. Does anyone deal with extreme bleeding in between periods? The bleeding in between periods is heavier than my actual period. I bleed from both ends. Endo has really affected my first year of marriage, not in a bad way on my relationship, but in the sense I find it really difficult to have sex with my husband, which shouldn't be the case. He is extremely supportive and never complains, but I can see it affects him too.
This brings me down so much. I have tried all types of pills, injections etc. I was wondering if anyone else gets bad reactions to the pills like continuous bleeding, extreme weight gain and depression.
Thanks in advance.

I get private healthcare as when I used go to my GP they never took it seriously. I just used to get put on pills to stop my bleeding when I was aged 13-18 as my periods used to last three months at a time, or sometimes I'd get my period once or twice a year. I am booking myself back in for a private appointment so we can see what's happening from there.
I'm sorry to hear you having all those symptoms, they really are the worst. I've never experienced hair loss or weight loss, but it's good your doctor is picking up on these symptoms and taking it seriously. My sister-in-law had similar issues, but hers was just more pain than anything. She had her op in Aug and it was endo. She feels much better. If yours turns out to be endo, I hope it should ease your symptoms. I felt so so much better after my op. Last year I felt pretty much pain free, but only now I feel it's returning as you're meant to stop your periods but anything I take causes me more problems so i'm on no treatment at the moment.
Please update me, and I can be hear if you need to talk xxx
It’s my worry that after the lap that my symptoms don’t change for the better as I often think how on earth can I get through this pain / bleeding. It’s not every day but when it comes, it’s ferocious and I can’t do anything apart from be very close to a toilet and lie on my bed in pain. It really feels like labour and my GP has said that’s exactly what it’s like.
