Hi, pls can you help?

I am 55, diagnosed with Endo a week ago after MRI - Endometrioma on the left - Tonight I flooded with vaginal blood, like your waters breaking! Prior to this & after severe pelvic period pain. I rang 111 who were not much help, I am calling my Gp in morning.

My Gynae from last week has refused to give Lap/hysterectomy as left ovary stuck to left hand sigmoid colon.

When I see GP should I insist on seeing an Endo specialist who has dealings with BSGE - my fear is that most Gynae’s say they do surgery for Endo but are not specialised in such.

I am trying to go via my health insurance privately now to speed things up.

How do I know if any given Gynae is a

Endo Specialist (what do I look for)

Thx
