After having a laproscopic surgery six months ago my cysts have returned with a vengeance. My gynecologist has put me on Zoladex, to try and shrink them before going for IVF.
I knew the symptoms would be difficult, stupidly didn't ask about how it would effect my periods, I just assumed they would stop. I had the injection two weeks ago and have been bleeding for eight days now, just wondered if anyone had any experience?
My next injection is due on the 2nd so I can't get advice till then 🤔

Hi Harriet sorry to hear your cysts have returned. I'm also on zoladex and waiting for ivf. After having surgery I was put on zoladex and for the first 2-3 injections I was bleeding quite a bit and it lasted quite a long time. I was told by the GP that it is a side effect of the zoladex and should clear up. I'm now on my 4th injection and bleeding has totally stopped. Good luck with the ivf 🤗
Oh dear so my eight days of bleeding isn't a problem then, my husband is going to be disappointed. Well all in aid of a more successful shot at IVF. I was told I'd just be on it for three months, did they warn you how long they intended to keep you on it? Thanks so much for the reassurance
