Has anyone had contractions after a laparoscopy? Every time i get up to do something i get a very heavy feeling near my bladder/ pelvis that feels like I’m carrying a bowling ball but also feels like my stomach is contracting, its one week since the lap and it started today

That sounds like normal post-operative pain to me. Do you know if they removed lesions or adhesions from that area? It’s probably just your body healing. You’re only a week post-op so it’s still going to smart. Keep an eye on it and if you’re worried, talk to your consultant or your GP. Hope you feel better soon.xxx
