Who contacts my friend after my Lap is finished - me or hospital?

Hi all,

My friend'll be picking me up from the hospital after my laparoscopy. Do I have to contact her once I'm awake or does the hospital do that?

More than likely you will do it, if the hospital think that you are ok to be discharged home they’ll tell you and you can make arrangements. Sometimes though the hospital might ask you to stay in to monitor you
