Hi, aw that doesn't sound fun! Can I ask if the tests come back with confirmed infections? I don't have Endo diagnosed currently but am on the pathway to lap. About 10 years ago my bladder started playing up badly and I had what felt like recurrent utis with painful kidneys too. I was back and forth to docs, they would test and say that there was no present infection but white blood cells in urine was a sign I was fighting an infection, along with the symptoms, so I went on several courses of different antibiotics but the symptoms persisted (was also needing a wee all the time but not emptying properly and sometimes leaking). After various other tests they put me under for a rigid cystoscopy and concluded 'possible interstitial cystitis'. Since thinking more recently I may have developed Endo I've done some research and found Endo and interstitial cystitis are dubbed the 'evil twins', as a high percentage of women suffer with both. Worth looking into? Other peeps will be able to advise more with regards to Endo and Endo on the bladder. Good luck with getting answers X
I was the same and it never occurred to me my endo was to blame. I had a lap 4 weeks ago and the surgeon removed endo from both my urethras ( tubes from kidney to bladder). OMG can’t believe it! Now I don’t go to the loo all night and can completely empty my bladder! Like Kirst625 I thought I had interstitial cystitis but obvs not! Bloody endo! Have had no back pain either. I went private initially with a recommendation from my gynae consultant as she wouldn’t operate on me. Best decision I made. Had a 14cm ovarian cyst removed too. I tried all meds going, conventional and herbal, nothing worked. Good luck xx
