UTIs
Hi. I get bladder problems starting every month just after period ends. However, they are not usually UTIs, in the sense of bugs being detected. Has your urine been sent off to the lab and come back positive for bacteria? I suspect that my own bladder problems do relate partly to my endo - although the lap 2 yrs ago did not show endo on the bladder - but that my bladder is now generally v sensitive to hormonal changes and so tends to react in this way. I find that being careful about diet and what I drink helps to an extent. (No caffeine, v limited amounts of sugar etc). I hope this is helpful for you.
Hi Noper, I have had a few samples sent to the lab and they all come back without bacteria. Yet I still have blood and pus in my urine, which I don't get? I didn't know endo could become attached to your bladder either. But like you said my bladder could be sensitive because of endo
I've come to realise that the pain I thought was utis is actually endo pain although I apparently don't have it on my bladder. Actually having blood and pus in your urine is worrying though and shouldn't be ignored
Hi same story as you ladies.... My bladder issues are endo related. I have had 2 bladder procedures done prior to lap as I have decrease urine flow rate. Anyway I've come to realise that my bladder problems and IBS are both related to the endo. Best wishes. It's worth getting further tests done.
I have uti any day any time.
