Gynaecologist app

Hey all,

I called my gyne’s secretary just to see if there was chance of a cancellation appointment, she’s called back to say he can’t se me any earlier as he wants to discuss my case with another consultant and radiologist before he sees me!

Does anyone have any idea why this could be??

Don't worry too much, it's not usually anything serious; it could be that your gynae just wants to check his approach is the best / most suitable, also the radiologist can best decipher the scans you've had as to locations / surgery points etc.

They usually discuss more complex / interesting cases!

I’m just intrigued more than anything lol. Feels like forever waiting on these appointments and her saying that had me thinking lol

I'd honestly just be happy someone's looked at your file! I seem to constantly be dealing with people who don't actual read any of my material before they see me (not gyn, my gp practice mostly).

I assume he just wants to look over your case with colleagues to discuss his treatment plan etc. Two pairs of eyes are often better than one! And it's a good way to teach other doctors.
