Good morning everyone,

Just wanted to see if anyone else experiences this. Not been definitely diagnosed with endo but looking that way iv been referred to a gynaecologist currently a 18 week waiting list 😱. Iv been in pain for weeks now Iv been given orimorph for the pain. Yesterday had hardly any pain but did think properly the calm before the storm. This morning Iv woken with what feels like a fire in my pelvis I haven't bled from vagina yet but after opening bowels there was blood 😣 The cramps are very very painful and lower back pain. Does any one else get this. I know it's definitely nothing to do with bowels as whilst in hospital a few weeks ago I had every bowel check done and it's clear. X

I can relate to the waiting list Mine is a 30/35 week wait for surgery 😳 in meantime my symptoms are worsening. ☹️

When I felt my symptoms weren’t been taken seriously I went to my GP and they wrote to my endo specialist who is going to run further investigations involving a colorectal specialist to assess how severe the endo has become. My endo is all over my rectum 😩

I’d get your GP to write to the consultant listing the severity of your symptoms; the endo nurse told me ladies get bumped up on the waiting list if a GP writes to the surgeon although I didn’t hear that from her 🤫definitely think that would help reduce your waiting time 😏

Blood in stools should be medically evaluated. Go to your GP ASAP 👍

I really hope the GP can ease the symptoms and contact your consultant xoxo

Wow it's ridiculous these waiting times, just shows what a strain the NHS is under!!! Last time I saw my gp he did take the time to list all my symptoms, so fingers crossed he's sent them across now aswel. I hope they get you sorted soon it's such a debilitating illness. Good luck. X

Sorry to hear you’re in a lot of pain and facing such a long wait.

The only positive of having such a wait to been seen is you can keep a diary of your pain, periods and even bowel movements and present this information and your first appointment. X

I love it when people see positives in negative situations, I live by the motto it could be worse. Iv been keeping a diary of everything for the last few weeks. Iv also gone through my medical notes and found a pattern to my pain etc all the way back to 2000!!! These are just times it been unbearable I haven't always gone to the Drs about that area due to a childhood incident. Thank you for your advice 😊 x

Well I came to the conclusion if I didn’t I’d end up in tears too much! So hit em with the truth and get where you want is much better 👌🏻. Glad you’ve found a pattern. Wishing you all the best x
