Not a hernia...could it be Endo?

Hi all, I had a scan yday on my kidneys, bladder and under my ribs for a suspected hernia. The lady doing my scan said all looked well and I didn’t have a hernia, so I asked could it be endometriosis and she said she couldn’t see any scar tissue. The thing is I have something that pops out from under my right ribcage, just below my chest and it’s quite painful when it happens. Has anyone else had anything like this that has been Endo related?

I'm afraid I don't really know what the pain could be, however, an ultrasound scan does not show endo. The only certain diagnosis for Endo is to have a proper internal examination of the whole abdominal cavity area. However, it might help also to have the whole liver and gall bladder checked - did she say if she looked at there, at all? Another possibility is endo on the diaphragm, which can happen. Do you have other symptoms of Endo? I'd wait until your GP has the full report from the scan and see what it says they did and did not do, then pursue it accordingly, while stressing that the pain continues, and is alarming.

Hopefully someone else may have more to suggest, but I hope this helps a bit.
