So I’m completely sick of everything that’s going on with me atm.
I’m 17 years old and I have period pains which are horrific and debilitating on some days. I’ve been told by the gynae that I could have endometriosis but he will not do tests to find out for sure. The last appointment I had I walked out crying because he would not listen. I have now been put on the waiting list to see a new Consultant and that’s not until the 24th August!
I generally don’t know what to do anymore. I’m sick of feeling so Ill all the time, I’m being sick before a period, with migraines and constipation also😶 I feel so run down 24/7 and it’s really affecting my mental health too.
I don’t even know what I’m expecting from this post I think I just need to let it all out and hope that I’m not over reacting and there’s people out there that actually understand

Hi Anon247, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I think it's v good you are asking for an appointment with another consultant- keep going until someone listens- you will get there and I admire your bravery and strength to do so. I would also phone the endo UK support phone line, who can help you:
See if there is also a support group in your area or online, I have joined a support group and it has really helped me in terms of the relief to talk to others who have experienced the same as me and what options for diagnosis/treatment there are.
Also, write a pain diary of all your symptoms each day and how it is impacting your quality of life as this is evidence to push forward with tests/treatment for endo. Look for a BSGE specialist endometriosis hospital if you are not already attending one (google this online if you haven't heard of it).
It took 15 years for me to get diagnosed and in that time I developed severe endo- the earlier you can treat it the better, please be reassured you are not alone and that there is help out there, keep strong my fellow endo warrior, hope it works out for you, take carex
