first period away from 'home'...high anxiety

I have just moved house and my period is due on Thursday. I was always desperate to be at home during my period as I would feel settled and be able to deal with my symptoms quietly. However in my new house I'm now sharing a bathroom and have thin walls, worried about waking my partner up during the night if the pain is bad/need a hot bath etc. I feel like I'm between 'homes' at the moment (normal, I know), but I'm dreading Thursday

Try and prep as much as possible before it arrives.

I think the anxiety is probably apprehension and quite normal as your due so soon.

I always feel AWFUL the days before hand. Eggh fatigue, sick, bloating.

It's all the hormones swirling round.

Can you start taking ibruprofen now as takes a few days kick in?

Small doses.

Have you got supplies? Hot water bottle, pads, pain relief?

thank you, yeah definitely getting the nausea and tiredness and bloating! I have started ibuprofen today in case it comes early. I think I have all the supplies I have ordered some more prescription painkillers from the doctors!
