Newly diagnosed endo sufferer

Hi everyone! So after many years of going back and forth to the doctors I was finally taken seriously and was diagnosed with endo on Thursday just gone after a laparoscopy. I also had what they think was a polyp removed from my uterus which has been sent for biopsy and a thickened uterus wall. Was this the case for anyone else? My surgeon went home before talking me through what he had done so the poor nurses had to try and read his writing.
