Hello, I am new to this and is looking for advise as I don't know what to do anymore and I am at a low.

My story begins Sep 2017. (I've had implant in since 2009 not same one lol get my 3rd one out in Jan 19 and I don't have periods.. ever) anyway September I started having severe left abdominal pain and went to docs and they thought i was just swollen. Went to A and E 3 times in 2 months still in this same pain and because they could see anythi g they sent me home. Since sept I've had blood in my wee but not visable only under the scope. I have been for an ultrasound in Nov 17 and nothing showed up. Went for c.t scan and nothing. I then got referred urologist. Had cystoscopy and my bladder was clean. Just had a c.t scan with dye in and nothing shown up. Urologist has now referred me back to gp. Which is really frustrating because I am in agony I feel like crying everyday and my pain is constant never goes away and 2 people have said it could be endometriosis. At the moment i am on oramorphe and zomorphe to try and ease my pain and have been for few months doesn't really work. But I am now more worried as I am getting same starting pain on my right side now. Can anyone give me any advise please? Thank you

Hi Bethany, Please dont feel you dont have support. We are here for you. I myself was on Oraphmorph, Co-codamol, Pregablin, ibuprofen and the list goes on, for years and was constantly misdiagnosed. It took an investigative Laparoscopy to discover that i had Endometriosis. It was too late to help me, everything had to go. Go to the Nice.org.uk and look up Endo. This is a site for guidelines on referrals of suspected cases for healthcare professionals and if your GP isnt doing what hes supposed to you may have some leverage for them to refer you for the above. Its important they listen to your needs not the other way round. Goodluck hun. Be strong xx

Hello Endomena,

Thank you for your reply.

Quick update. I was I so much pain on Saturday I went to A and E where they found out I've got another UTI (2nd or 3rd now) and I still have blood in me wee. I have has that for 9 months now.

Spoke to docs this morning and he said he sees no harm in referring me to a gynacologist to have a chat n if they want to do laparascoep then they will. But my doc doesn't think I have it as I have implant in and don't bleed. So I'm getting implant out today just to see if still have pain etc. What frustrates me is when my doc says if they say there is nothing wrong with me then I should say enough and give up looking for answers as it main be a pain for no reason wtf it's so frustrating :(

Hi i think your GP is thinking your implant is stopping your estrogen! Which causes Endo pain? But if its not that the problem and your in agony then tell him what the hell is it then. But i think the only way to really discover it is through a Lapo.. so say you would be more able to accept the diagnosis if you had a Lapo. Mental health is also important ........

My mental side of things. Well I am just drained. But reading peoples post I feel bad saying it as I have been through it for 9months not years like some of you. But it really is draining me and it's getting hard with my partner as he loves going out and if never stop that but 9 times out of 10 I don't wanna go out as I'm in pain with my side. So it's like I don't have a social life. But women been women we just have to put a smile on our faces and off we go. But not only that he has ADHD and tends not to think before speaking. I think with him Ita just a side pain n it's nothing but it's hard to tell people how much pain your In it's like I've got to convince people. It's mental.
