On a period..

Does anyone else get the odd period where it's just black and gritty in the toilet with cramps? I'm day 3 of period with very little bleeding which is black but I have achy cramps like I'd get if I was extremely heavy.

Hi, I've had periods similar over the last year, I've had approx 7 where I get 1/ 2 days of black grainy blood with bad cramping pain like I'd expect more if I was heavy, then after this I often pass the period in big dark roundish clots or long stringy ones when I go for a pee over the next few days. Sometimes passing these really hurts and sometimes not so bad. Not sure that it's definitely Endo having not been diagnosed, but along with the ovulation pain, bloated belly, IBS symptoms and bladder issues the GP and gynae thinks it could be likely X

I get this! It’s horrid, I hate it cos it normally means I’m due to pass a massive clot 😰 x
