Endo specialists in NYC

Hi all, I have been suffering from terrible pelvic for years here in NYC. I know this is the endo UK group but everyone here seems so knowledgeable that I thought I would risk and pose this question.... I finally had surgery in March .... they found no endo but plenty of adhesions which apparently they removed. However, my pain has been only worse since surgery. It turns out I have hernia but since the pain is cyclical they do think that there is a good possibility either the adhesions grew back or were not all excised or not every place was looked at plus perhaps the surgeon (who was an endo specialist) missed and there was endo someplace. All the docs seem to agree that I need another surgeon in which there will be an abdominal surgeon to remove the hernias and look at abdomen but I also need another endo specialist to look and perhaps excise. I am deciding between Iris Orbuch and Tamer Seckin. Part of me feels that Tamer Seckin has the most experience although he seems very PR focussed and perhaps I am just responding to that. I really don't want to go through another surgery where I end up in pain and there is a possibility that some endo or adhesions were missed. Does anyone have experience with either of these doctors and can shed some light on whom to choose? I would really appreciate it as I am so scared of making another mistake and continuing to live in pain

Hello,

I think dr Seckin is the best option, from my resources and I did some...but for me it's to far.

Good luck
