So in June last year I was diagnosed with endo after discovering a huge cyst on my left ovary, I had a lap to remove cyst and treat the endo and am currently on zoladex. The last few months I have had awful pain in my coccyx/tailbone and the doctor cant understand what’s causing it. A friend had similar and was being caused by ovarian cysts, was wondering if anyone else has experienced or heard of this!?
Currently waiting for X-ray and mri to investigate further x
Hi, I had the same pain and also a large cyst on my left ovary which after surgery to try and remove it they realised it was stuck to my bowel too.. I'm not exactly sure what casued it but maybe and depending the on size of your cyst it could be that they are pressing on other parts of the body close by and or trapping a small nerve at the same time.. my cyst had pushed things out of place so that caused it so maybe it's similar with you. Hot water bottles and painkillers for now may help until they can deal with the problem. Hope you get an answer soon x
