zero iron stores in the body (ferritin)

hello ladies does anybody else here suffer from low ferritin levels? its the iron stores in the body? if so what have you done about it or been advised to do?

Hello- yes I do. I was prescribed Iron tablets by the doctor. My feratin levels have gone up and down over the years, no idea why.

Im anemic since I had my first symptom of endo and I think maybe these are linked. My doctor recommended iron tablets with vit.C acid folic and b12.

I have suffered with low ferratin for approx 20 years......i am on and off ferous fumerate constantly.

As soon as i have a blood test and its in range they stop the iron and then within a month or 2 im back on them as its dropped again.

Doctor says it could be due to malabsortion but never really had an explanation.

thanks for responding I do my best to live a healthy life and eat as well as I can but I feel like I'm trapped in an endless circle. I wish doctors would help endo sufferers join the dots to better manage their healthcare.
