Hey everyone! So i had my first gyny app in jan and because I had Endo in pod in 2014 and my symptoms are back he thinks based on my symptoms I could have deep lesions on bowel. He said because it can take so long for mri app to come through he didn’t book my follow up app till may. I know if they found anything suspicious I would find out sooner but if they have found something that’s not serious would I still not get called in until may? I rang them up last month and they just said if they found anything untoward they would of been in touch but does that mean nothing been found at all 🤔 sorry for the long story 😂😂 x

hi. Hope your having a good day.
in my experience of MRI scans and what our surgeon friend says happens if they see anything out of place they let you know immediately / within 48 hours depending on what it is. The problem with MRI and endometriosis is it isn't easy to see. I was seen by a bsge specialist my scan was normal he was operating to remove some badly placed cysts and any other endometriosis found. In reality I had a full frozen pelvis and the worst endometriosis he'd seen in a long time, he even went over the scan again as he was baffled so just because its clear doesn't its not there.
good luck.
