So I’m very pleased my first ever smear and pelvic ultrasound came back clear of anything nasty.. I was really worried as the pain has been sooo bad I thought there was something serious going on inside me, but now my doctor doesn’t seem interested? I’ve asked to be referred to a gyne because now I’m almost certain it’s endo, is there any other tests I need to have to rule anything else out before requesting a lap??

Clear ultrasound and cervical screening
I had to have blood tests, smear which resulted in a Colposcopy, ultrasound and then an internal examination with my guarnatolgiest before I could have a lap. He did the internal in my first consultation with him and then I had the lap after that. So I would guess that the lap would be next. Good luck with it all and I hope you get some answers
What blood tests did you get? I’ve had all the general full blood count, iron levels things like that x
The only thing which will fully confirm a diagnosis of endo, in most cases, is a lap. I've always understood that everything else is about ruling other issues out, not confirming whether or not you have endo. I had smears, and a pelvic/internal ultrasound, and then various treatments tested as they 'assumed' endo, before then I had a lap to confirm and treat x
