Extremely painful bowel movement.

After a horrendous summer when I ended up in hospital with severe stomach pains and no one could work it out despite having cameras having a good look I was eventually diagnosed with Endometriosis. GP and myself agreed to have a marina coil inserted and to start HRt patches which have helped periods etc. But now and then I have an extremely painful bowel movement which feels like contractions - most recently I ended up on the toilet for 5 hours trying to go - so degrading and humiliating! Felt so sick and pain was absolutely awful. Does anybody else experience such painful motions? Any support would be great. xx

Big hugs. I used to faint on the lavatory trying to go, though my rv endo nodule caused the opposite problem.

You need more than GP care if you have symptoms of bowel endo though., you need to establish if its deep infiltrating which can risk damage to your bowel if not treated properly.

Has your GP referred you to a bsge accredited endo centre so you can be seen by a specialist?

I donnit understand why you have the merina coil and having HRT?

I genuinely have not heard of anyone being treated in this way before?

Have you seen a gynae, and have you been diagnosed via laparoscopy?

Hi 😮 Since a year ago I've had stomach pain 😮 recently as well my bowel movements have been getting worse in the sense they are painful everytime and I get constipated I bleed and have hard black stool 😮 I'm currently be tested for gastro stuff as well 😮 What were you actually tested for? Because it could be endo but many women have endo and gastro disorders as well also some women havd endo on the bowel which could cause that 😮
