pain in bladder

Hi all,

Does anyone else have pain in their bladder? I'm being investigated for endo and my laparoscopy is the end of March. My newest development is pelvic pain, especially in the left side which worsens with a full bladder, it even hurts as I walk! Once I get to the bathroom and try to go the pain inside on the left gets way worse and it's starting to become really difficult. I drink a lot of water but it's actually making me want to restrict my fluid intake so i don't have to go as much :(

With my first lap (6 days ago) I also had a cystoscopy (camera inserted in to the bladder) because I have severe pain in my bladder. I was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis as well as endo.

Do you feel an urgency to wee? And urinate frequently day and night? Might be worth asking your gyne to do a cystoscopy when they do the lap/ having one done another time if not. Definitely get it investigated, you shouldn't have to go through so much pain just to wee.

Hope you get some answers and feel better soon. Best of luck for your lap!

Xx

Heyyy

My frequency isnt any different and i dont wake during the night. Did a urine test but knew it would be fine...its not a urine infection kind of pain.

Hows your recovery? X

That's good it's not a UTI. Doesn't sound like its interstitial cystitis but could be endo.

Recovery is slow but good. Starting to feel more like myself, not sleeping as much in the day and wanting to do more mentally stimulating things. I had quite a lot done so might take a little longer to heal and had a complication. Definitely worth it to get some answers though!

Xx
