Results of laparoscopy

Hi all just looking to see if anyone else has same results as myself. Long story short after alot of pain,spottingin between periods and heavy long periods decided to get it investigated. So after internal scani had an a polyp removed from my womb after thst had a laparoscopy showing "old endometriosis" on right side and adhesions on left side resulting into my colon being stuck to my adominal wall this is what i got told straight after the sugery. My question is they took 2 biospys and i havent had a appointment sent out yet for offical results sugery was the 5th of December. But i got a letter for march for a mri on pelvis now? Why would they be doing an mri now? Ive read adhesions dont show up on mri?
